  • Abington Speech Pathology Services, Inc. (ASPS, Inc.) incorporated in 1999. It is managed and owned by a licensed speech language pathologist. All of the company’s directors are licensed and remain clinical to better direct and support both the company’s clients and the clinical staff.
  • Through the years, the company’s client base continues to grow and remains loyal. ASPS, Inc. has expanded its services to include staffing of physical therapists, occupational therapists, teachers of the visually and hearing impaired, ESL teachers, school psychologists, social workers and other specialized teachers.
  • ASPS, Inc. operates two offices in Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern California.
  • The corporate office is in Eastern PA and services all 5 major counties surrounding the metro Philadelphia area and New Jersey. The Southern CA office services the Los Angeles and Orange County metro areas and exclusively offers speech pathology services.
  • The company offers its professional staff a lending library of materials. In PA, there are 2-3 continuing educational seminars that assists with clinical growth and state/national mandated continuing educational requirements.
  • ASPS, Inc. provides a one point-of-contact to monitor and assist both the therapists and the clients, ensuring the highest quality of service and the most cost effective plan.
Orna Kempler-Azulay, M.A., CCC-SLP- President
  • Orna Kempler-Azulay is the president and owner of ASPS, Inc. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist. Orna graduated from California State University Northridge with her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders and earned her Master of Arts in Communicative Disorders from University of the Pacific, Stockton.
  • After relocating to Pennsylvania, Orna founded Abington Speech Language Pathology Services, Inc. in 1999. She has extensive pediatric and adult therapy experience. Currently Orna oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice. Orna is married and has two kids and a dog. She enjoys baking and traveling.
Jamie Cohen M.S., CCC-SLP- Vice President of Clinical Services, West Coast
  • Jamie Cohen received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from The City University of New York Brooklyn College. She has worked with children and adults with a variety of communication disorders in multiple settings both on the East and West Coasts.
  • She has been with ASPS Since 2007 as a contractor and has relocated back to Southern CA to be the clinical director in our new Laguna Hills pediatric outpatient speech clinic. She enjoys shopping, decorating, knitting and cooking. She loves spending time with her husband and three sons.
Liz Navo, M.A., CCC-SLP- Vice President of Educational Services, East Coast
  • Elizabeth Navo graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders. She completed her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from The College of New Jersey.
  • She has worked with children ranging in age from 2 to 12 years with a variety of communication disorders in multiple settings, which include homes, preschools, elementary and middle schools, and private outpatient centers. She enjoys shopping, running outdoors with friends, and having fun with her husband and two children.
Erin Heinerichs, M.A., CCC-SLP- Vice President of Clinical Services, East Coast
  • Erin Heinerichs graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from West Chester University. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology at The College of New Jersey. Erin has focused her clinical career in both pediatric and adult settings.
  • She has worked at a variety of local hospitals, school districts and IUs in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania. Erin began working with ASPS, Inc. as a contractor in 2004. She began her current position as Clinical Director at ASPS, Inc. in August of 2005.
