4. Fluency Tracker

One of the best speech therapy apps for the parents of children who stutter and aims to increase children’s positive feelings about speech, as well as reduce avoidance behavior.
Users can enter data regarding how often the child stutters throughout the day, when and where this occurs, and with whom the child was speaking. They can also record when and why the child avoided speaking.
This data is processed to provide an ongoing overview of a child’s anxiety and attitudes toward speaking so that the speech therapist can better customize his or her therapy.

5. Fluency SIS

From the moment I first had a play with Speech Blubs, I knew it would be a very useful app to use in our classrooms. Working in a school for Autism, many of our children have complex communication needs with the majority being non/minimally verbal. Speech Blubs has been a huge hit with children, teachers and Speech therapists alike with it being the go-to app in supporting our young people with their language development.

9. Boo Articulation Helper

Boo Articulation Helper is an app that helps children to practice speech sounds that they need to improve. The app encourages children to imitate articulated sounds and raise phonological awareness.

Boo Articulation is a fantastic app that aims to improve the articulation of phonemes and sound blends. This app is particularly useful for Speech & Language Therapists, Educators and parents to support children with speech disorders and complex communication needs. Speech sound disorders include problems with articulation (making sounds) and phonological processes (sound patterns).

Articulation Scenes brings articulation practice to a whole new level! All activities were beautifully designed around the theme of cinema and movies for a fun and interesting learning activity.

Articulation Scenes comes with 72 stunning built-in scenes and over 1200 practice words. Each scene contains 4 separate activities:
1.Find the hidden items: Allows children the opportunities to listen to targeted words and find them on each scene.
2.Tap and say it: Children tap on the items on the scene, which are isolated allowing the therapist to track and monitor their productions.
3.The movie theater: Children get the opportunity to listen to a story using the target words.
4.The production room: This is the activity that allows children to either create their own stories, record them and continue to practice.

Great for Carryover

My kids love this app and it’s great for articulation carry over. I also like using it for kids working on language skills like descriptive words and sentence construction. I use it at least once per day.
